Janice Jo Barker Detrich, age 67, passed away on June 9, 2017 at the Hospice of the Chesapeake in Pasadena, Maryland.    Jan had recently relocated back to Maryland to live with her daughter, Jessica, granddaughter Lily Belle, Jessica's partner Kevin Goedeke and his children, Lexe, Bubba and Trey.

Jan's life work as an intuitive astrologer, teacher and counselor spanned the globe, wherever Jan lived during her lifetime from her childhood in Fenton, Michigan to the East Coast of the United States, or travelling abroad including a teaching sabbatical in New Zealand, she impacted her community.  Through her counseling, workshops and astrology practice she has guided thousands along their life's journey.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lila (Steele) Barker.  She is survived by her father, Dale M. Barker, daughter, Jessica and granddaughter Lily Belle,  brothers Steve Barker and wife Kristine, Dan Barker and his wife Ann, and many nieces, nephew, grandnieces and grandnephews.
