Janet A. Rowe, 72, a resident of Millersville and formerly of Severna Park, died of Alzheimer's disease Dec. 26 at the home of her daughter, Cynthia A. Rowe Palmer of Millersville, where she resided.

Born July 8, 1932, and reared in Harrisburg, Pa., Mrs. Rowe retired in 1999 from Severna Park Baptist Church, where she worked as business administrator for 15 years.

She was married to Joseph Rowe, who died in 1987.

Surviving in addition to her daughter, are her mother, Edna Price of Harrisburg; two other daughters, Cheryl Ball and Maureen Kirby, and one son, Michael Rowe, all of Millersville; two sisters, Patricia Hoffer and Christina Haas of Harrisburg; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Severna Park Baptist Church, 506 Benfield Road. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
