Janet Louise Morse, 79, passed away peacefully in her home in Severna Park, MD on July 2, 2023 surrounded by family. She was born on March 22, 1944 in Lancaster, WI to John and Alice (nee Yoose) Morehouse.

Janet was raised in Lancaster, WI and graduated from Lancaster High School in 1962. In addition to spending time with her family and grandchildren, she was an avid trivia buff and loved animals, particularly Poe, Frankie and Grace who often came to visit.  She worked for over 20 years as an Administrative Assistant at Towson University and spent several years volunteering at GBMC after retiring in 2009.  Prior to living in Severna Park, Janet lived in Dubuque, IA, Somerville, NJ, Fallston, MD, Lake Anna, VA, and Timonium, MD.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, C. Ronald Morse of Severna Park, MD; three daughters, Kimberly Morse, Kelly Miller (Douglas), Kristi McNeilly (Charles); one brother, Richard Morehouse (Jeanie); and five grandchildren, Mackenzie, Regan, & Cameron Miller and Holly & Samuel McNeilly. Janet is preceded in death by her brother, Francis Morehouse.

A private family service will be held in Wisconsin at a later date.
