Janet was a devoted wife and mother, kept busy by raising five children and running a household. She loved to cook and engaging in fine crafts such as sewing, crocheting, macramé, cross stitch, and ceramics. Her family and friends considered it a prized gift to receive one of her artistic creations. In her later years, she relished excursions to play the slots and watch the Ravens latest contest.
