Jane Jackson Moore, loving called Mimi and Gra by her grandchildren, departed her loving family on February, 28, 2021.
Jane was born in Huntington, West Virginia on September 25, 1927, the youngest of her three sisters Glennis, Margret and Carolin, to Zela Mooring Jackson and State Senator, Glenn Robert Jackson. She grew up in Logan, West Virginia and attended Marshall University where she met her late husband of 53 years, Fred Wesley Moore.
In addition to raising her three children, Jane had a passion for the game of bridge, achieving the distinction of Goren Life Master. She was also passionate about nature and our childhood years where filled with hiking, camping and the outdoors. In her later years, she was fond of rides in the car searching for wildlife and enjoying the flora and fauna. Jane enjoyed life, family and friends and was always there to brighten the lives of others. Her caring and compassion was recognized and received by all who knew her, and some who didn't, and for this she was loved and adored.
Jane is survived by her children, Michael Moore, Timothy Moore and Kristin Browning, grandchildren Jackson Moore and Shannon Kileen, and great-grandchildren, Makayla, Taylor, Bonnie and Lilah Kileen.,
A celebration of life will take place in the future. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Heart Association in her name.
