Jane Mae Burdinski passed away on October 21, 2023. She was 97 years old.

Jane was born on July 24, 1926 in Baltimore Maryland to Clarence Theis and Viola Pearl (nee Tyler) Theis. She grew up in Baltimore and Halethorpe, and lived in Ferndale, Millersville and Bethany Beach Delaware before she moved to Severna Park be close to her family. Jane lived the last year at Arbor Terrace Waugh Chapel Assisted Living.

She was a telephone operator for C&P Telephone company before she became a homemaker.

Her hobbies were bird watching, baking, crochet and embroidery and she was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by her daughters Nancy Lewis of Severna Park, MD, and Carol Gneiting of Odenton MD, as well as 3 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gilchrist Hospice, 11311 McCormick Road, Suite 350 Hunt Valley MD, 21051.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday October 26th from 10-11:30am at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway Severna Park MD 21146. Her funeral service will begin at 11:30am at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 7231 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie MD 21061.
