Jane Bragg, 82, of Cape Arthur in Severna Park, died suddenly on December 11, 2008 at Genesis Eldercare in Severna Park.

She was born Effie Jane Moore on April 17, 1926 in Hurt, Virginia to her parents, John and Grace Moore. Mrs. Bragg was raised in Hurt, Virginia and later resided in Baltimore City, as well as, Woodmore, MD. Mrs. Bragg worked for the Social Security Administration for 33 years. She was a very active member of Pasadena United Methodist Church. Mrs. Bragg loved traveling, reading and crafts.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Lloyd H. "Bob" Bragg, Jr. of Severna Park; five brothers, William Moore of Alexandria, VA, John Moore of Coventry, RI, Dallas Moore of Richmond, VA, Aubrey Moore of Lynchburg, VA and Franklin Moore of Richmond, VA; four sisters, Merelyn Goodson of Dundalk, MD, Anne Valley of Dunnellen, Florida, Helen Cocke of Lynchburg, VA and Pat Brauer of Kilmarnock, VA; as well as, many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bragg was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Kitte Roberts.

Friends may visit on Monday at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00am with an interment to follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery.
