James Frederick Woodbury, born December 31, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA, died peacefully on March 15, 2012 at his home in Millersville. He was 70 years old.

James was the son of the late Col. James Woodbury and Gwendolyn Heemann Woodbury. As the son of an Army officer, James lived in many places, including PA, MD, GA, VA, NY, Italy and Germany. He has spent the past 32 years as a resident of Bello Machre in Anne Arundel County.

James enjoyed many years of employment at OBI (Opportunity Builders, Inc.) and loved his extended family at OBI and Bello Machre.

James is survived by his sister, Deanne Reynolds and her husband Jim, of Grasonville, MD; his nephew, Jason Rodenhaver and his wife Robyn, of Centreville; his niece, Tara Murray and her husband Chris, of Mt. Airy; and five great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, March 19, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Barranco & Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 20 at 10:00 am with the burial to follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Baltimore.
