James (Jim) Wilmer Revere, age 75, a resident of Stevensville, returned home to be with his Lord on September 9, 2015, after a lengthy illness.

Born August 13, 1940, Jim graduated from Glen Burnie High School, served four years honorably, in the Navy. His established careers were both in the trucking industry and real estate. He was an avid golfer and cyclist, and successfully finished a Hilton Head Triathlon. He also enjoyed the great outdoors, gardening and landscaping his home. His pride and joy were his family and time spent with them. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and acquaintances.

Survived by his cherished and loving partner Loraine M. Dailey; devoted father of Paul E. Revere and his wife, Mary; James (Jay) P. Revere and his wife, DeAnna; loving grandfather of James M. Revere and James P. Revere II. Also, survived by his former wife Linda (Lyn) Revere-Clapp and former daughter-in-law Jacqueline (Jackie) Revere.
He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Lottie Hoyt.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 11:30 am-12:30 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park, with a funeral service beginning at 12:30 pm. Interment will be in MD Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
