James Arthur Puccinelli, of Millersville, passed away on February 16, 2023. He was born on November 27, 1943 to Guerino and Mabel Puccinelli in San Francisco, CA. He was raised in Morton Grove, IL and attended Niles East High School. He then started at Peru Nebraska College and then transferred to Northern Illinois University and then left in 1963 to join the Air Force until 1967. James worked as a U.S. Federal Division sales representative for Motorola for 32 years until his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed playing golf and chess. He loved historical documentaries, especially if they are about WWII as well as reading Tom Clancy and Patterson books. He was an avid sports fan: women's soccer, golf, wrestling, the Baltimore Colts, Washington Redskins, and most of all, his grandchildren's sports. He also enjoyed cruising with his family and friends and traveling.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Margery Puccinelli; his son, James (Donna) Puccinelli, II of Deale, MD; his daughters, Joelle (Robert) Sullivan of Simsbury, CT, and Kimberly Gussow of Pasadena, MD; his brothers Jack (Karen) Puccinelli of Schaumberg, IL, and Jay (Lisa) Puccinelli of Johnsburg, IL; his sister Janet (Steve) Daniels of Naylor, Ga; as well as his 5 grandchildren, Tre, Dani, Robbie, Trenton, and Carson.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD, 21146. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 11am at the funeral home.
