James C. Kronz, loving husband of Elizabeth Nan Kronz, died peacefully in his home on February 19, 2017.  He was 77.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA and a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy Jim spent 26 years of his professional life traveling the world with the US Navy and after retirement further supporting their mission with his information technology expertise.

His love of the water was further expressed in his passion for sailing.  Upon retirement he became an avid toy train collector and was active in the Train Collector Association where he served as treasurer, president and past president of the Eastern Division.

He is survived by his wife Nan, children Susan, Jim Jr., and Diane, and grandchildren Tori, PJ, Macy, Hope and Ryan.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, February 26th, 2017 from 4pm - 8pm at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 27th, 2017 at 10 am at St. Andrew by the Bay Roman Catholic Church, 701 College Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21409.  Interment will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville, MD.
