James E. Gause, age 81, of Chester, MD, formerly of Severna Park, MD, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2013. Born in 1932 in Greenville, SC, Jim was a graduate of Clemson and enjoyed a career as an Engineer with Westinghouse. Jim was also a career Army reservist retiring with rank of Lt. Colonel and had a short active stint in Korea. Husband of the late Pauline (nee Iley) Gause, father of Stuart Gause and Nora Gause and step-father of Lillie (Iley) Difalla, Jaqueline (Iley) Gallagher, and Glen Iley. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren. Services and interment will be private.
