James Everett Flaherty, 39, of Severna Park, died Dec. 30,2004
Born April 27, 1965, in Massena, N.Y., Mr. Flaherty graduated from Severna Park High School and High Point College in North Carolina.
He worked at the Phoenix Center in Annapolis as a physical education teaching assistant for more than 12 years.
His interests included gardening, golf, fishing and taking care of his cats.
Surviving are his wife, Lori K. Flaherty, whom he married in 1999; one brother, Rick Flaherty of Altamont, N.Y.; and one sister, Jeannie Converse of Severna Park.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Burial is private.
