James S. Brennan, 75, a resident of Severna Park for 19 years and previously of Hampstead, died Dec. 21 at his home of complications after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Brennan was born Sept. 23, 1933, in Baltimore, where he was raised.
He was a supervisor for General Motors for more than 20 years until he retired.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War.
He was an avid reader, and enjoyed gardening, raising livestock, growing roses, history, art and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Amy S. Brennan; one son, Timothy Sean Brennan of Towson; two daughters, Kathleen Anne Brennan of Phoenix and Bridget Maureen Brennan of Baltimore; one stepson, H. Chester Goudy III of Easton; two stepdaughters, Roberta Warwick of Severna Park and Patricia Utz of Annapolis; one sister, Catherine Houck of Texas; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3 at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Highway. Interment will be private.
