James (Jim) Dennis Baikauskas, 76, of Millersville, MD, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Anne Arundel Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born and grew up in Essex, MD.

Jim graduated from Archbishop Curley High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Baltimore. By age 39, he became the President of Warner Fruehauf Truck Equipment Company and later President and owner of B&B Equipment Company. He honorably served 6 years with the Maryland Air National Guard. On May 2,1970, Jim married the love of his life, Sharon.

Jim enjoyed the simple things in life. He took great pride in his well-groomed lawn and gardens. He also enjoyed traveling and watching sports, especially Orioles games. His greatest pleasure was Sunday dinners with his family. Playing with his 3 grandchildren was the highlight of his day.
He is preceded in death by his three siblings: Dorothy Baikauskas Hotem, Anthony Baikauskas, and Martin Baikuskas.

Jim is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon L. Baikauskas; two sons, James K. Baikauskas (Leslie), of Frederick, MD; Kevin A. Baikauskas (Lindsay), of Arnold, MD; one granddaughter, Madison Baikauskas of Frederick, MD; two grandsons, Liam and Beckett Baikauskas of Arnold, MD; and one sister Mary Baikauskas Taylor (Melvin), of Fallston, MD.  He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 5-7 pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. A memorial service will follow at 7 pm in the funeral home.
