Jaimie Crawford Smith passed away on June 14, 2024.

She was born on June 28, 1967 to William and Dorothy (neé Baldwin) Crawford in Edison, New Jersey. She grew up in Edison and attended Edison High school before moving to Plainsboro, NJ, and later settling in Arnold, MD. She married the love of her life, William "Bill" Smith on her 30th birthday, June 28, 1997. She earned her Masters degree from Rutgers University and went on to teach music in Anne Arundel County Public Schools and at Marley Glen Special School in Glen Burnie, MD. She loved music and crochet.

Jaimie is survived by her husband of 26 years, William "Bill" D. Smith of Arnold, MD; her sons William C. Smith and Cameron J. Smith of Arnold, MD; her sisters Erin Leigh Van Orden of Edison, NJ, Robin Cha of Sunrise, Fl, Claudia Manning of Sunrise, FL; and her brother William Crawford of Somerset, NJ.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday June 19, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm at Barranco Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy Severna Park MD, 22146. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday June 20, 2024 at 10:00 am at New Hope Chapel, 804 Windsor Rd, Arnold MD, 21012 with burial at 2:00 pm at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 5829 Ritchie Hwy, Baltimore MD, 21225.
