Jacquelyn Mullican Lusby 86, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2022 at In Comforting Arms in Severna Park. Jackie was born in Baltimore to Clarence and Naomi Mullican. During her childhood years her family lived in many places on Maryland's eastern shore before settling in Severna Park, where she would meet the love of her life, best friend and future husband for sixty years, Walter. Their life together was a shared adventure.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her sister Patricia Davis and three children; Kevin Lusby and Claudia (Kassatly), David Lusby and Karen (Foley), Sharon (Lusby) and Michael Forrence, along with eight grandchildren, Kirsten, Eric, Steven, Andrew, Stephanie, Megan, Christopher, and Alexander, and nine great grandchildren.
After graduating from Annapolis High School, Jackie worked for the C&P telephone company. After marrying Walter and she helped manage the family business (Magothy Marina). She was a very talented artist and shared her creativity through painting and drawing. She was a great cook and enjoyed decorating the many places she and Walter lived after retirement. Jackie and Walt eventually returned to live in their beloved hometown of Severna Park.
The family extends their heartfelt thank you to Mary Daniels and her amazing staff at In Comforting Arms, and the Hospice of the Chesapeake.
A private celebration of Jackie's life will be held at a later date.
