Jacqueline Peeler, 76. a resident of Pasadena, died on April 2 at home of cancer after a six month illness.

Mrs. Peeler was born February 07, 1932 in Rhodell, West Virginia and was raised in Hickory, North Carolina.

She married Harold Reid Peeler on May 21, 1953 and lived in Jersey City, NJ; Carlisle, PA; and York PA before residing in Pasadena, MD.

She was a homemaker and was a church receptionist for New Covenant Church for 13 years.

She was very active in church, enjoyed flower gardening, loved spending time with her grandchildren, and enjoyed shopping.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Reid Peeler, who died in 1990.
Also, was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Lockman and Joanne Baker; one brother, Jimmy Greer; and one great-granddaughter.

Survivors include one son, Rev. Christopher R. Peeler of Pasadena, MD; five grandchildren and two great-grandsons; two sisters, Jean Sharp of Columbus, GA and Janice Fox of Hickory, NC; two brothers, Harold Greer of Columbus, GA and Randy Hodges of Hickory, NC.

Family and friends may visit at New Covenant Church, 365 Jones Station Road from 6-9 pm on Monday, April 7 and on Tuesday, April 8 from 9:30-10:30 am with a service to follow.
