IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jacqueline Mary
Listman
October 29, 1932 – April 26, 2022
Jacqueline Mary Listman (nee Sholtz) of Pasadena, Maryland was born on October 29,1932 and died, at the age of 89, on April 26, 2022.
Jacqueline (known as Jackie) was a co-owner and bookkeeper of Listman's General Store with her husband, John E. Listman from 1960 to 1986. Upon retiring from the store, Jackie established a dog breeding business known as Old Spice Haus. She was well known for cherished tea-cup poodles and chihuahuas puppies throughout the tri-state region. Jackie bred and cared for her dogs from 1991 until 2021. She was a dedicated proprietor of both businesses. Jackie loved meeting people through her businesses and stayed in touch with many of them.
Jackie was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland where she attended Notre Dame High School. She was a devout Catholic throughout her life.
Jackie was an only child and she had dreamed of having many children and to be a part of a large family. She and John raised 10 children and were blessed with 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She loved her large family and enjoyed many gatherings over the years.
Jackie had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed travelling. She loved taking her children to the beach as often as possible. Jackie was always on the move, and her favorite phrases were "live one day at time" and "never a dull moment" because you never know what tomorrow will bring.
Jackie is survived by her children Anita Johnston (Leonard Kajs), Bonnie Thompson, Henry Listman (Mary Listman), Conrad Listman (Estrella Listman), Adolph Listman, Catherine Moore (Patrick Moore), Jacqueline Moore (Matthew Moore), Kurt Listman (Anastasia Listman), and Kim Listman. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Jackie was preceded in death by husband John E. Listman, and son John E. Listman, Jr.
