Jacqueline E. Kay (Fitzgerald), 84, a resident of Severna Park died on July 27, 2011 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Severna Park.
She was born on December 5, 1926 in Fall River, MA and was raised in Milton, MA during her early childhood. She graduated from Milton High School and graduated with a Business Degree from Simmons College in Boston, MA.
Jacqueline married in 1949 and was a homemaker. She moved to Annapolis, MD in 1951. Between 1969 and through the early 1980's she was a tour guide with the U.S. Naval Academy.
She was a member of the USNA Officers Wives' Club, a member of a Severna Park Book Club, a Girl Scout Leader; and a member of St. John the Evangelist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Kendrick Kay, who died in 2001.
Survivors include her two sons, Richard Kay of Glen Arm and Stephen Kay of Glen Burnie; four daughters, Christine Zoller of Hanover, PA, Deborah Kay of Millersville, Patricia Morris of Maitland, FL, and Virginia Mirenzi of Arnold; and nine grandchildren.
A Memorial Visitation will be on Friday, July 29, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 10 am at St. Andrew By the Bay Roman Catholic Church, 701 College Pkwy, Annapolis, MD 21409. Interment will be private.
