Jacob E. Alderton, Jr. "Jake", 68 of Trappe, MD died of natural causes at his home on September 23, 2008.
Mr. Alderton was born on June 25, 1940 in Baltimore, MD. He was raised in Severna Park, MD and resided in Ridgley, MD for ten years. He worked as the Vice President of Quality for a Defense Contractor.
Mr. Alderton was a former member of the Severna Park Elks. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed boating, fishing, gardening and riding his motorcycle.
Mr. Alderton is survived by his wife of forty-two years, LouAnn(Reimer)Alderton; his daughters, Debra L. Latham of Grasonville, MD, Lois L. Alderton of Stevensville, MD and Kelly L. Rush of Trappe, MD; his sister, Joan Owens of Vienna, VA; and six grand children. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristen R. Alderton.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10:00.
