Of Arnold MD, formerly of Baltimore passed away at Caritas Assisted Living House in Violetville on Saturday, April 4th 2015.
Isabelle, daughter of Frank and Isabelle Reger and sister to brothers Frank, John, and Joe Reger (deceased). Married for over 45 years to Clarence E. Schanken (deceased in 1986), they were blessed with four children, Bernadette Knopf of Suwanee GA, Suzanne Hartman of Taneytown MD, Mary Regina Hayden of Severna Park MD, and Paul Schanken of Crownsville MD.

Isabelle treasured her six grandchildren, Jennifer Knopf Baudoin, Kimberly Hartman Hughes, Courtney Knopf Rodi, Charlie Hartman (deceased), Christina Hayden Palmer, Laurie Schanken Buckland, and four great grandchildren, Lily & James Hughes, Alex Hartman, and Larry Jacob.

As a devout Catholic, Isabelle attended Mass daily at St. John's Evangelist Church in Severna Park, MD, was an active pro-life supporter, and Catholic Daughters of America. Isabelle was an avid gardener recognized by Governor William Donald Schaefer with a Beautifying Baltimore Award.

Friends may visit on Thursday April 9, 2015 from 4-7:00pm at the Barranco & Sons, P.A Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday April 10, 2015 at 10:00am in the St. John Catholic Church 689 Ritchie Hwy Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment in Meadowridge Cemetery.
