Irvin Samuel Kemp, 94, a resident of Severna Park since 1954, died of natural causes May 3 at home after a brief illness.
Born Nov. 3, 1909, and reared in Baltimore, Mr. Kemp served in the Army during World War II under Gen. George Patton.
Mr. Kemp retired at the age of 72 from Folkemer Photo Service, where he began working as a developer at age 16.
He was a member of the Annapolis Elks Lodge 622 and enjoyed golf and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Beatrice Evelyn Harbison Kemp, whom he married in 1935; one son, Donald I. Kemp of Kent Island; one sister, Mabel Hoffman of Silver Spring; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will follow in Lorraine Park Cemetery in Baltimore.
