Iris Iolanda Feenick passed away peacefully on January 22, 2018 at Hospice of the Chesapeake, in Pasadena, MD. Iris is survived by her five children: Lisa Liberth and husband, Richard, of Savannah, GA; Jean Skinner and husband, Dean, of Independence, KY; Anthony Walter Feenick and wife Jeanne of Warren, NJ; Robert Anthony Feenick,Jr. and wife Shannon of Lexington, KY;  Caroline Leverty and husband, Ray of Severna Park, MD; 16 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She was born on January 3, 1928 to August and Blanche Toni (Stella) in the Bronx, New York City, where she was also raised. Iris is proceeded in death by her husband of 65 years, the Honorable Robert Anthony Feenick.

Iris attended New York City public schools and went on to receive an Associate's Degree from Hunter College.

Iris lived in Washington, D.C. from 1952 to 1956 then moved back to the Bronx. In 1959 she moved to Pearl River, NY where she raised her family. Iris then moved to her beach house in Barnegat Light, NJ in 1993.

Her favorite past time was spending time with her grandchildren at the beach and swimming in the ocean. Iris enjoyed working out with Jack LaLanne, water aerobics, golfing, and cooking. She was a Committee Woman for the Pearl River Republican Club, an avid reader, and a member of The Junior League.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 10:30 am in St. John Neumann Church, 620 N. Bestgate Rd., Annapolis, MD 21401. Interment will take place on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Maryland Veteran Cemetery in Crownsville, 1122 Sunrise Beach Rd.
