Iris Geraldine "Gerry" Bower, 91, of Severna Park, died Dec. 17 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Severna Park.
Mrs. Bower moved to Severna Park from Salisbury in March 2002 following the death of her husband of 68 years, George W. Bower.
Born in Salisbury where she graduated from Wicomico High School, she and her husband were partners in a variety of family-owned businesses over the years.
She was a life member of the Junior Board of Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald Bower of Arnold and Bruce Bower of Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, William Petit of Salisbury; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, with private burial. A memorial service will be held in Salisbury at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice
