Irene M. Corcoran, 84, of Severna Park passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018.

Irene was born on February 2nd, 1934 in Burma. She was raised in Bedford, England and Dover, England before coming to the United States to start her family. Irene was a Candy Striper Volunteer from 1966 to 1970 and was also a cook for the American Legion Post 175 from 1986 to 1996. Irene enjoyed cooking, knitting, sewing, playing Scrabble & Cribbage, and also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Irene is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, who passed away in 2003 and her daughter, Patty Schilling, who passed away in 2010. Irene is survived by her three children; Debbie Corcoran, of Severna Park, Daniel Corcoran and his wife Pam Corcoran, of Fairhaven, MA, and Kathleen Bennett, of Severna Park. Irene is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. Interment will be private.
