Ingeborg Maria Craig, 84, a resident of Crofton, died on February 13, 2010 at Crofton Convalescent Center, after a 2 month illness with cancer.
She was born on July 23, 1925 in Freiburg, Germany, and was raised in Munich, Germany. She previously lived in Kent Island and Glen Burnie prior to moving to Crofton.
Mrs. Craig was a homemaker and a member of the Ladies of the Elks. She enjoyed bowling and camping.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Oren E. Craig.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, R. Paula Gemmill and L. Russell Gemmill of Millsboro, DE and Karen L. Kirkpatrick and Russell W. Kirkpatrick, Jr. of Crofton, MD; and granddaughter, Shaunna L. Kirkpatrick.
Services and burial will be private. Arrangements have been made by Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 200 East Joppa Road, Suite 407, Towson, MD 21286.
