Ines I. Ray, 81, died on October 31, 2011 at her daughter's home in Pasadena, of natural causes after a lengthy illness.
She was born Ines I. Coombs on December 4, 1929 in Sutton, WV, where she was raised, than residing in the Cape St. Claire Community of Annapolis from 1949-2003. In 2003, she moved to Salisbury, MD and came to Pasadena in July 2010.
Mrs. Ray was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and canning in her earlier years.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph D. Habel, and her second husband of 37 years, W. H. "Harvey" Ray, who passed on July 31, 2010.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon K. Jernigan of Pasadena and Darlene McArthur of Princess Anne; one sister, Thelma Lewis of Randallstown; numerous nieces and nephews; grandchildren; and great grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit on Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 10:30 am -12:30 pm, with a service to begin at 12:30 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park. Interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
