Ida L. Lambert, 72, of Severna Park died peacefully at her home on October 25, 2013.

Ida was born to her parents, Joseph and Ruth Haminger on September 16, 1941 in Baltimore and was raised in Severna Park. She graduated from Annapolis High School in 1959 and was employed in the main office at the Board of Education for 17 years and as the Business Manager of Northeast High School for 14 years. She loved gardening, traveling, knitting, crocheting, and sewing, often donating items to various organizations.

She is survived by her husband, Philip Lambert; her sisters, Judith A. Haminger McBee and her husband, Harold and Linda L. Haminger Cantler and her husband, Jimmy; as well as, many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, October 28th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with the interment to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Baltimore, MD.
