Hugo Koubik
Hugo F. Koubik, 80, of Arnold, died July 14 at home after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Koubik was born Jan. 29, 1925, in Colonial Park in Woodlawn, where he was reared and served in the Army during World War II.
He worked for Larry E. Knight, Inc. as a concrete forman for about 15 years and was a member of the American Legion Post 175 for over 35 years, the National Rifle Association for 27 years and the Sportsman's Club for 22 years.
His interests included crabbing, fishing and hunting.
He was the widower of Beatrice Koubik, who died in 1979.
Surviving are one son, Frank Koubik of Virginia; one daughter, Phyllis A. Koubik Palmer of Arnold; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and Tuesday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Burial will follow in Bohemian National Cemetery, 1300 Horner's Lane in Baltimore.
