Howard Franklin Huebel, 82, of Annapolis and previously of Pasadena, died of natural causes Oct. 7 at Heritage Harbour House after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Huebel was born Sept. 15, 1926 and was raised in Baltimore.
He worked for John Hancock Life Insurance in Baltimore for many years; he also owned American Associates, Inc.
He served in the Army Air Force during World War II.
He was a member of the Optimist Club of Baltimore and the Paint and Powder Club of Baltimore.
He was the pianist for his band, the Staffords. He enjoyed music, boating and restoring old boats.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lee Ann Stevenson.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Laurene Huebel; two daughters, Suzanne H. Forthofer and Gaynell Harding of Arnold; two sisters, Millicent Miramont of Cincinnati, OH and Jacqueline Newman of Baltimore, MD;8 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Arnold.
