Herman Majerowicz, 89, a resident of Arnold, passed away on March 28, 2017, at his residence.

He was born on October 6, 1927 in Maryland.

Herman was a member of American Legion Post # 175 in Severna Park. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, boating, crabbing, and golf.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Majerowicz of Severna Park; one daughter, Donna Martin of Severna Park; one son, David Majerowicz of Arnold; two sisters, Vergie Majerowicz of Pasadena and Geraldine Majerowicz of Baltimore; five grandchildren, Amy Meeks, Amanda Dorsey, Joshua Majerowicz, Matthew Majerowicz, and Sarah Majerowicz; and five great grandchildren, Cooper Meeks, Addison Meeks, Aven Dorsey, Ashton Dorsey, and Lanah Dorsey.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 1:00 pm in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment will be on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 1:45 pm at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.
