Henry Stahl Sr., of Annapolis, MD, passed away on June 2, 2026. He was 82.

Henry was born on May 10, 1944, to John Stahl Sr. and Elizabeth (neé Blum) Stahl in Hidas, Hungary. Henry was raised in Hidas, Hungary and Bellville, New Jersey. He attended New Brunswick High School and Rider College, both in New Jersey.

Henry served in the United States Army First Cavalry Division during the Vietnam War Era, from 1963 to 1965. After his time in the military, Henry married the love of his life, Anita, in the spring of 1967. Together they would move from East Brunswick, NJ, to Arnold, MD, to Severna Park, MD, and Poinciana, FL.

Henry was a warehouse supervisor for Goodyear Tires Rubber Co. for thirty years. He also was a member of the VFW and was the AAC Band Booster President and three-time SPHS Band Booster President. Henry also enjoyed playing golf, bowling, collecting DVDs, photography, and reading. He also loved playing with his black Labrador, Kody. Henry and his wife, Anita, loved traveling extensively around the United States and Europe.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Anita Stahl of Annapolis, MD; his daughter, Denise Lyons of Annapolis, MD; his son, Henry Stahl, Jr. of Severna Park, MD; and his five grandsons, Willian Lyons of Glen Burnie, MD, Robert Lyons of Annapolis, MD, Branden Stahl of Arnold, MD, James Stahl of Arnold, MD, and Joshua Stahl of Severna Park, MD.
