Henry DeMatteis, 84, of Annapolis, died of heart failure April 25 at Future Care-Chesapeake in Arnold after a lengthy illness.
Mr. DeMatteis was born June 8, 1921, and reared in Rochester, N.Y., and served in the Marines during World War II. He retired from Bond Clothing where he was a presser.
He was a former member of the American Legion in Rochester and enjoyed playing golf.
His wife, Kathryn DeMatteis, died Aug. 6, 2004, and his son, Elliott DeMatteis, died Sept. 20, 2002.
He is survived by a brother, Armondo DeMatteis of Annapolis.
