Helen M. Walcroft, 92, of Heritage Harbour, died Oct. 25 at her home after a brief illness.
Mrs. Walcroft was born in McKeesport, Pa., and was raised in the Pittsburgh area and in Slovakia. She graduated from Duquesne, Pa., High School and attended classes at the University of Pittsburgh.
She owned and operated a hair salon for several years. She moved to Prince George's County with her husband, J. Randall Walcroft, where they established the firm of Walcroft Real Estate. The office was located in Bladensburg and operated for more than 20 years.
After retiring from business, the Walcrofts moved to Heritage Harbour and spent winters at their home in Pompano Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Walcroft enjoyed shopping, gardening and travel.
Mr. Walcroft, who was active in civic and community organizations, died Oct. 2, 1997. The couple had been married for more than 50 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Eileen King of Burbank, Calif., and Cheryl Adkins of Millersville; and two granddaughters.
Visitation is from noon to 2 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, followed by services.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1120 Spa Road, Annapolis, MD 21403.
