Helen Jean Martin, 77, of Annapolis died of heart failure Jan. 11 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Mrs. Martin was born July 28, 1930, in Baltimore to the late Raymond and Helen Timanus. She graduated from Western High School and Bard Avon Business School, and lived in Annapolis since 1959.
She was a member of Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, the National Association of Parliamentarians, the Women's Association of the American Dental Society, and a volunteer with the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland.
A homemaker, she enjoyed needlework and vacationing at the beach.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Dr. William F. Martin Jr., as well as her parents.
Survivors include one son, Dr. William F. Martin III of Annapolis; one daughter, Susan J. McEvoy of Leonardtown; one sister, Ann Rae Erickson of Princess Anne; and two granddaughters.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. in Severna Park.
Interment is private. Arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
