Helen E. French of Arnold, Maryland passed away on April 28, 2018 at the age of 101. She was born on February 18, 1917 to Reuben and Marjorie Leach in Orono, Maine and raised in Bangor where she met her beloved husband, Albert C. French, whom she married on October 12, 1940. With him she resided in numerous locations, including Elizabeth City, NC, Easton and Baltimore, MD, and several other residences before settling in Arnold in 1979. Fiercely independent, Helen epitomized her Maine heritage. She enjoyed reading, especially westerns.

In addition to her husband, Helen was preceded in death by her dear sister, Madeline M. Wiser. A private burial will be held at Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery.
