Helen K. Cvirko, 96 years young, passed away quietly on January 16th at her home in Severna Park surrounded by her loving family.

Originally from Brooklyn and Long Island, NY; she lived 32 years in Bradenton, FL, prior to moving to Severna Park to be closer to immediate family in 2013.

Helen was a devoted wife to her late husband, Alexander. She is survived by daughters; Sue Tereshko and Alexis Pyle. She also had two wonderful sons-in-law, Jim Tereshko and Chick Pyle. Helen is also survived by her loving sister, Pauline Karnillow and sister-in-law Nina Cvirko. Helen was also blessed to have three loving grandsons: AJ Tereshko, Dan Tereshko, and Nicholas Kaschak. She was known as "Great-Nana" to her three great grandchildren; Andrew, Caroline, and Kate Tereshko. These 'rug-rats' always brought a smile to her face. Helen leaves behind two nieces and two nephews in Texas and a dear niece in Punta Gorda, FL.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 1:30pm at St. Tikhon's Monastery, 175 St. Tikhon's Rd., Waymart, PA 18472. Interment will take place at the church cemetery immediately following the funeral.
