Hazel Rebecca Schmidt, 99, of Severna Park, MD passed away on June 5, 2020 at Spa Creek Center in Annapolis.

She was born on July 19, 1920 in Baltimore.  Hazel was raised in East Baltimore and married George Paul Schmidt in 1937.

She also has resided in Orchard Beach, Clearwater Beach, Glen Burnie, Arnold and Crownsville.

Hazel had worked at Westinghouse and the Department of Defense.  She was also a Sunday School teacher for many years.

Hazel was predeceased by her husband, George Paul Schmidt and her son, David Robert Schmidt.

She is survived by two sons George Ronald Schmidt of Severna Park and Richard Gary Schmidt of Crownsville.  She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
