Hazel Frances Lang, 81, of Arnold, died of a stroke April 26 at Future Care-Chesapeake in Arnold after a three-week illness.

Born Jan. 8, 1924, in Camden, N.J., and reared in New Sharon, N.J., Mrs. Lang also resided in the Brooklyn section of Baltimore City. She graduated from Woodbury High School and worked as a telephone operator for the former Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Co.

The widow of George Eli Lang, she is survived by two sons, Larry E. Lang of Arnold and George Richard Lang of Clearville, Pa.; two sisters, Marty Lucas of Pottsville, Pa., and Alice Corrigan of New Jersey; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, with services to follow. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie.
