Harry Edward Heaphy III, 52, of Aberdeen, died of a heart attack May 15 at his home.
Born Aug. 21, 1951, in Baltimore, Mr. Heaphy was raised in Severna Park and graduated from Severna Park High School in 1969. He then entered the Air Force.
He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed fishing, hunting and all sports.
The son of the late Frances Ann Hall, he is survived by his father, Harry Edward Heaphy Jr., and stepmother, Janet P. Heaphy, of Annapolis; and three sisters, Mary Frances Nichols of New Jersey, Karen Ann Heaphy of Severna Park and Donna Marie Martin of Delaware.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, followed by burial.
