Harriet M. Craig, 96, a resident of Severna Park since 2003 and previously of Salisbury, Maryland died November 10 at Heartlands Assisted Living in Severna Park.
She was born April 12, 1914 in Philadelphia, PA to Emmor E. Marsh and Sarah Philips Marsh. She graduated from Beaver College in Pennsylvania in 1936 and worked as a school teacher for several years before marrying Thomas A. Craig in 1941. They lived in Princeton, NJ for several years before they moved to Salisbury, Maryland in 1955. She worked as an office manager in Salisbury for many years before retiring in 1970. She also volunteered at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury for many years. She was a long time member of Wicomico Presbyterian Church in Salisbury.
After retiring, she enjoyed playing bridge, knitting, traveling, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Craig, who died in 1988, and her son, Stephen Craig, who died in 1947.

She is survived by her daughter, Sally Outten and three grandchildren, Katie Outten, Jennifer Outten, all of Severna Park and Carrie Outten of Baltimore, MD

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD. Interment is private. She will be laid to rest in Atglen, PA next to her husband, son, and other family members.
