Obituary
Harold J. Cranska died peacefully in his residence on March 31 st , 2017 in Severna Park, Maryland the day before his 86 th birthday.
Harold is survived by his sons, Jeffrey and Allan, his brother Stephen and his 4 grandchildren, Alyssa, Carly, Julia and Keith. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores.
Harold was born in 1931 in Oxford, Massachusetts to Polly and Harold J. Cranska Sr. He attended schools in Oxford. He married his high school sweetheart in 1952. He was a veteran, serving in the Navy for four years. After moving to Bowie, Maryland, Harold worked at the Government Printing Office for 25 years.
Harold was passionate about Thoroughbred horse racing. In retirement he worked at the Bowie Race Course Training Center and owned racehorses.
A short memorial ceremony with military honors is scheduled for 1:00pm Friday, April 28 th at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery with burial to follow.
