Halina Kapelewski (nee Szulc), 94, passed away on August 23, 2016 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center from natural causes.

She was born on July 18, 1922 in Poland, Wizna to her parents Konstanty & Bronislawa Szulc (nee Kruszewska).

She resided in Syracuse, New York for 25 years. Halina moved to Gambrills, MD where her residence was for 12 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Antoni on October 8, 2003, her great- grandson, Cole Robert Kinkade on December 31, 2015

Halina is survived by her three children, Michael Kapelewski (Yvonne), Andrew Kapelewski, Diane Shoesmith (Colin) and her grandchildren, Jordan Shoesmith, Alec Shoesmith, Nicole Frederick (John), Chrissy Kinkade (Matthew), and Melissa Kapelewski. She is also survived by two great-granddaughters, Madelyn Frederick and Brienna Frederick.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 6-8pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment will be in Poland at a later date.
