Gwen Patricia Geiger, 56, of Arnold, died Jan. 29 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a brief illness.
Born July 10, 1949, in Plainfield, N.J., Mrs. Geiger graduated in 1967 from Lansdowne High School. She was a clerk at the National Security Agency and also a substitute teacher in county public schools .
She enjoyed sailing in the Caribbean and mystery novels.
Surviving are her husband, Stephen Geiger; one daughter, Christina Rose Geiger of Arnold; her mother, Ann Patricia Jennings of Baltimore; one sister, Nancy Regina Butterbaugh of Arnold; and one brother, Robert Jennings of Glen Burnie.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, with services at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church, 701 College Parkway. Burial will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 320 Cathedral St., Baltimore, MD 21201.
