Grover Benjamin Pumphrey, 62, a resident of Annapolis, passed away on July 11, 2017 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.

He was born on November 25, 1954 in Annapolis, Maryland, where he was raised, and graduated from Annapolis High School and University of Maryland with a degree in Zoology.

Grover was employed with the Social Security Administration as an award winning Programmer.

His interests were fishing and boating. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs and he also raised Koi fish.

He is survived by his two sisters, Brenda J. Rogge of Severna Park, MD and Bonnie G. Glandon of Harwood, MD; two nephews, Kyle Rogge of Hoboken, NJ and Christopher German of Beaufort, NC; four nieces, Kimberly McGuckian of Arnold, MD, Megan Lamontagne of East Berlin, CT, Dionne Benson of New Haven, IN, and Monique Grove of Indiana.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 1pm in Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075.
