Gregory Lon Jackson, 51, a resident of Crownsville, MD, died on July 10, 2009, at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.
He was born on September 12, 1957 in Baltimore, MD.
Mr. Jackson graduated from Severna Park High School and was self employed as a general contractor.
He enjoyed dancing, disc jockeying, loved music, crabbing and especially spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his late father, Walter Miles Jackson and his late brother, Steve Jackson, who died in 2003.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle Jackson of Crownsville, MD, two daughters, Courtney Lyn Rea of Washington State, Brianna Paige Jackson of Linthicum, MD; three sons, Gregory Lon Jackson, II of Annapolis, MD, Christopher Michael Whiteman of Newark, DE and Shane Thomas Jackson of Crownsville, MD; mother, Lona Ruth Jackson of Choptank, MD; one grandson, Aidan Gregory Rea; two sisters, Millie R. Jackson of Crownsville, MD and Michele D. Jackson-Volke of Pasadena, MD; and one brother, Fred Jackson of Crownsville, MD
A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15 from 5:30-6:30 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, MD. A Memorial Service will begin at 6:30 pm, following the visitation at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
