It is with an extremely heavy heart that I announce the transitioning of my Dad, Gregory W. Banister to his eternal home with our Loving Father in heaven. He took his last breath on earth Saturday, May 26th at 12:22 pm surrounded by his loving family.  He was a very personable and loving man, and was always trying to make someone smile and laugh. He was a free spirit who was happiest when surrounded by people he loved having a good time and joking around. He was extremely selfless and would do anything for anyone in need. Dedicated and hardworking, he believed there was nothing he couldn't fix or accomplish.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. His final resting place will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, after the service.
