Grace Virginia Lowman, 79, of Arnold, died Jan. 29 at her home after a brief illness.

Born March 15, 1926, and reared in Chicago, Mrs. Lowman retired after working 30 years with Westinghouse.

She was a longtime member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Arnold and volunteered with the Severna Park Assistance Network. Her interests included ballet and watching ice skating.

Surviving are her husband, Bruce Albert Lowman; one son, Michael Lowman of Glen Burnie; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Asbury United Methodist Church, 78 Church Road, Arnold. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
