Grace was born on Father's Day June 16, 1940 to Mesrob Avedissian and Mary Tarzian Avedissian in Philadelphia, PA. She passed away in Dover, Delaware on Father's Day June 16, 2024.

Grace graduated from Girl's High School in Philadelphia and continued her education as a nurse at Abington Hospital.

In 1963 she married Donald Matthew Durr (Deceased 7/13/17). They lived in Severna Park, Maryland where they raised their family on Arundel Beach Road. She worked in numerous doctors' offices in the area and enjoyed spending time gardening and tending to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Daniel Matthew Durr and Kirstie Durr (née Dowell), her daughter Elisabeth Durr and her husband Greg Meleney, her sister Kathleen Avedissian, brother Gregory Avedissian, and 4 grandchildren Sydney D'Onofrio, Ethan Durr, Liam McBell, and Franklin Brown.
